The Information Management Awards, now in their eleventh year, are the premier European recognition of excellence and innovation in the management of business information. They are a showcase for the success stories of organisations that have demonstrated the vision and business skills to implement highly successful projects utilizing leading-edge IT and business technologies.

BCS is delighted to announce that it has acquired the Information Management Awards, reflecting the Societys commitment to excellence and professionalism in the practical deployment of leading-edge software technologies.

The IM Awards will be presented at the dinner at the Grosvenor House on 7 December, in conjunction with the BCS Professional Awards, which will make it the largest IT Awards event in Europe.

The organisations that reach the Finalist stage, and especially the Winners, deserve the accolades, the public acknowledgement, and the extensive media coverage as befits true industry leaders. If this could apply to your organisation, either in the IT industry, as an end user company, or in the public sector, I strongly encourage you to enter.

I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you at the Awards dinner at the Grosvenor House on 7 December.
